I am buying a 320 gig Wester Dig. HD and a Samsung DVD burner from Newegg. Do these types of drives usually come with SATA cables? If not, can someone link me a good suggestion from Newegg.com (SATA cable) to buy for each etc ThxQuestion Regarding SATA Cable, DVD Drive %26amp; Hard Drive
I am buying a 320 gig Wester Dig. HD and a Samsung DVD burner from Newegg. Do these types of drives usually come with SATA cables? If not, can someone link me a good suggestion from Newegg.com (SATA cable) to buy for each etc Thx
If, they are listed as OEM, then they won't have a sata cables. If, you bought a motherboard to build your system....they should have included a few cables. Otherwise, just do a search for sata cables at newegg.Question Regarding SATA Cable, DVD Drive %26amp; Hard Drive
Most HDD now days come use a SATA interface...and the DVD drives are a little more expensive using the SATA interface other than the IDEi cant link to newegg because im using firefox..but you can look for yourslef, most of them are cheap 10-20 dollars, just search SATA Cd Drive in newegg you will find results..

Look here:http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE%26DEPA=0%26Description=SATA+II+roundNote: some have right angle heads.....depending on your system, then can make hook-up easier.
so SATA II is what I want? Those seem cheap like $3 each?
