Resolution issue

So like I was wondering, since I have a widescreen pc monitor, I usely have 1400 x 900 resolution for games.Unfornutaly older video games don't support that and games get stretched out.How can I adjust the resolution so that that problem doesn't occor?The monitor menu doesn't work... it depends, if you have nvidia card or ati, as example, i adjust my resolution in the nvidia control panel, and it even let you use custom resolutionsResolution issue
