Smoke came out from UPS/CPU

I was playing game on my pc wen suddenly power went off. I had my pc connected to ups so as soon as my power went of my pc restarted it went few screens and began to restart again and again. I quickly switched off my pc as i walked away from my pc i heard a slight burtsing noice and there were huge smoke coming out from UPS and cpu area dono exactly from where bec both were pretty close to eah other and there was a burning smeel in the air. Later wen power was back i checked my pc without connecting to Ups and it worked fine later then i connected my Ups to pc and now it also is working. So wat exactly went wrong before is it safe to use ups again, were did smoke came from?Smoke came out from UPS/CPU
Umm... UPS? I think you mean PSU. Anyways, I don't really know whats wrong here.. if it works it should be fine, but I would get it checked out.Smoke came out from UPS/CPU
UPS -Uninterupted power supply.Bassically its job is to supply power to pc wen there is a power shortage so ur work on pc doesnt gets interrupte.It was brand new only 4 months old I guess PSU - power supply unit
