so i got an e7200 the other day and yesterday and earlier today i had it running at 3.16ghz with a fsb of 1333, but after i tried pushing it further i couldnt even boot into windows (vista home premium) and when i put it back down to 3.16ghz i still cant boot. It only boots when i run it at stock speeds now. I have tried different speeds with the memory and that didnt help, more voltage didnt help either, each time i get error messages when its oced. I have a GA-EP35-DS3L and im pretty sure i disabled all of the things that turn down the speed and power to the cpu. My memory shouldnt be the problem its corsair xms2 and i have had it running at 844mhz, its stock is 675mhz. Any ideas on what the problem could be? I had it perfectly stabled earlier idk what went wrong. overclocking trouble
bumpoverclocking trouble
Reduce the memory speed, bump chipset voltages, if it doesn't work clear CMOS and check for stability at about 3ghz. Those CPUs have good luck hitting 4GHZ so that would suck if it couldn't get passed 3.

But that sucks, my memory ran at 844 earlier and now its 750mhz because i lowered the multiplier just to get it to boot.
