Would this work ???

Would I be able to put an 8800gt into this computer http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=%26langid=EN%26sku_id=0926INGFS10107504%26catid=20217Would this work ???
No. It has an insufficient power supply, insufficient cooling, and because it is an Inspiron it probably has a non-standard motherboard that based on other's issues with large cards, will not fit the 8800 GT.What you need to do is go to some Canadian equivalent to newegg.com such as ncix and buy parts to assemble a computer from scratch. With a $1000 budget sans monitor you can get a nigh top of the line computer by building yourself and that's the same money you would have spent on that piece of junk Dell and the video card. Would this work ???

Instead of forking over $500+ for a retail PC that is very limited, put that money towards building your own PC like BlackKat said.. You'll be much more satisfied at the end of the day when you're gaming on your very own PC, built by YOU.
