Sub $200 Video Card

I am in the market for an upgrade from my old 8600GT. I don't want to go higher than $200. At first I was looking at the 8800s, but the ATI 4800s and nvidia 9800s came out. Heres the 2 I am looking at right nao.

Radeon 4850 - $170

and

9800GTX -$150 after rebate

I have been hearing conflicting reports on which is better. And I have concerns about the 9800 fitting in the case.

there is a picture of the case. I bought an hp with that case, because at the time the refurbished prebuilt was cheaper than the quad core that came in it.Sub $200 Video Card
The 4850 outperforms the 9800GTX. The 9800 GTX+ performs better then the 4850, but you're going to be paying a lot more for it.I would go with the 4850(just make sure you use the manual fan fix). Sub $200 Video Card
I would go with the 4850 as well.
also for only 20 bucks more the new 4850 1gb ddr3 came out from saphire idk if it helps in performence tho
4850
Get the 4850 but MAKE SURE your powersupply can handle it. If your running the stock powersupply that came with the case then your going to be underpowering it by alot.

so the 1gb version is like a bunch of other cards just a marketing gimmick i hate it when they do that if it makes no difference
I read on the internet that all what a GTX+ is an over clocked GTX, is that true, and is that a process you can do yourself? Also, i have a 300w PSU, which technically isn't enough for an 8600GT, so I was planning on upgrading the PSU as well. I was thinking about just picking up a 500w or somewhere around there from circuit city or best buy. I think that the PSU isn't giving enough power to my components, as I have a Core 2 Quad, so I thank that could be affecting my performance right now.
Go for the AMD 4850 my friend!

Well, unless you have the PSU to handle it, neither of them will be good for you.EDIT: Seems your PSU can't handle either of them. A good PSU that can handle either is gonna cost you $50 at minimum. Unless you find a good PSU for about $30, or you can afford about 20-30 bucks more, you're gonna have to go with the 9800 GTX. Of course, the HD4850 is better....Then again, $150 for a 9800 GTX isn't that bad. O_O-$50 from the MSRP.
