Power supply and 4850/4870 question

Right now in my system I have a 350w power supply don't know to much about it because I bought the computer prebuilt by HP because of the deal it was. Obviously because its from HP the video card is not cutting it for gaming its only a 9300. I wanted to upgrade to either the 4850 or 4870. If anyone has opinions on these and which one is the better deal or if I should wait until the 4870 x2 to come out to drop the price of the others. Also how much power I would need to run each one and it would be greatly appreciated.Windows Vista Home Premium 32bitIntel Core 2 Quad Q9450 2.66ghz3GB DDR2-800MHZ Dual Channel SDRAM - 1 1gb and 2 512mb 320gb 7200rpm SATALightScribe DVD+/-R/RW15-in-1 ReaderTV TunerNot sure how many fans maybe 2 80mm. Yes, you will need to upgrade the power supply. I have a prebuilt HP similar to yours, the only difference is it came in a smaller case, and no TV tumer, and shipped with integrated graphics, which i immediately replaced. ( with an 8600GT.) But the 8600GT requires at least 400watts, and the 4800s are more powerful, so I would estimate around 450W will do for the base 4850/70. Power supply and 4850/4870 question
