Help building a new computer

So I am looking into buying/building a new PC. the one I currently have was bought way back in january of 2002 so it's quite old. I want to get a new one that can play current games (COD4, TF2, UT3, etc) and hopefully still play games a year or two down the road (although by then I won't need everything on max settings and may upgrade some things). I quickly threw together a PC using a tool from a local store, and was looking at buying this http://members.shaw.ca/ajpage98/secondbuild.htm. what should i look at changing, upgrading, or downgrading? I am somewhat new to putting together your own PC so any input is appreciated. also how much should I expect to pay for a PC like this? As I have heard this store is slightly overpriced, but I am not sure as to how much I should expect to pay (note prices are in Canadian dollars which is pretty much on par ith the American dollar). I like it and I wouldn't suggest changing anything unless you have a large monitor, then go ahead and grab a 2nd 4870.It's no too overly priced, but you could probably find the parts cheaper @ NCIX. Help building a new computer
Wait, you're getting 8 gigs of RAM? Because I'm getting a similar setup (4850 instead) but 4gigs of RAM is definitely not 200 bucks. As for pricing, those prices are excellent. About as cheap as you can get. Yeah, I've seen the Q6600 for 200, but I can't really say about the RAM since I'm not sure if you're getting 4 or 8.
Looks great, is that 8gb? If it is, go for 4gb, 8gb is not really necessary, and you would be spending less. Also look for the Antec Nine Hundred case

ok thanks for the replies so far. It is $100 for 4GB so the $200 is for 8GB total. I may reduce it although I have heard theat vista hogs the RAM (although I may be over comensating it somewhat). as for going for an Antec nine hundred case (or an entirely different one for that matter) how big of a difference does the case make in terms of cooling? could you pretty much buy whatever you wanted, add an extra fan, and be ok, or is it better to go with something tried and true. I ask this because I know that the memory express store itself always has a case or two that are discounted a fair bit, and look quite nice, but I don't know if it's better to go with what I know works for other people.
