I need a new laptop for classes so it needs to be portable, but I want to be able to play games on it. I'm also on a budget.Right now I am looking at the ASUS M50Vm-X (specs below) but I don't know anything about ASUS laptops so I'm hesitant to buy it CPU Type: Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GScreen: 15.4'' WXGAMemory Size: 4GB DDR2Hard Disk: 250GBOptical Drive: DVD Super MultiGraphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GSVideo Memory: 1024MBMy questions are: Are ASUS laptops good? Is that Graphics card going to last me a while? and is this a good laptop for what I need?
Gaming laptop on a budget
Asus make some of the best midrange (low end for gaming) laptops (and hands down the best motherboards for desktops). The one you selected will be great for classes, and sufficient for gaming as well. It's not going to max Crysis, but will play many or most titles on high settings well.Gaming laptop on a budget

You might have to settle for lower settings on BioShock and I'm not sure about Fallout 3(no idea on this one)
