I've really been trying to build a rig for over 2 months now and I really think this is my final build >.> Much help is appreciated, thanks! One question though, is it possible to SLI a 8800 GTS and a 8800 GT as the one shown in the rig or do they have to be the same kind of GPU? Thanks again guys!
Can you guys rate this rig and help as well?
The link is working right now. But, about sli, they do need to be matching cards. Can you guys rate this rig and help as well?
Do you mean that it's not working? Tell me if it works now... https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=10234828
For the most part, that's pretty damn good. I've been looking at a couple of those parts myself for my own rig. Just 2 concerns. 1: i would highly reccomend that you get a better PSU. 550 watts will just barely cut it for this rig and leaves no room for expanding. I would go for atleast 700 watts. 2: you chose to go for DDR2-800 RAM when your mobo supports DDR2-1600 RAM. this isn't a major issue but you will get better performance if you go for the higher clock speed. You might also want to go for a full-tower case instead of a mid-tower case. full-tower cases take up quite a bit more room but in turn you get alot more room on the inside, and with the graphics card you chose, it could get pretty cramped with a mid-tower case. other than that, great system! as for SLI, they do need to be the same. however the mobo you chose only has one PCI express x16 slot. you also have to make sure the mobo you select supports SLI (obviously this one doesn't because it only has one graphics slot).

I don't have a newegg ID.
Well, I know about the mobo, but I have the 8800 GTS 320, could I SLI it with a 640mb?
Ok, I talked to my friend and I changed somethings around..... and to make it easier---- thanks again!

Looks good, i'd give it a 8/10 considering the price/performance rating.
Sweet, but honestly I want to save as much as I can, so should I go with the e7200 or should I just get the 8400? Is the difference big enough to warrant the money?
Also to add to the cpu question, is the psu big enough?
Also to add to the cpu question, is the psu big enough?
The PSU is fine, not the best brand... but it will do.
My friend is going to help me build the pc and he's going to OC so I should just with the e7200 then? And is there a better brand for the PSU for the same price or a little bit more?

Alright thanks for all the help bro, and everyone else. I'll stop wasting space now.
