Will a Vista 32-bit product key work with a 64-bit version

I'm building a new computer, and I don't want to pay M$ 100 dollars for Vista, since I am already on a tight budget. If I install Vista 64 on my computer, can I use a 32-bit product key to activate it?Will a Vista 32-bit product key work with a 64-bit version

No most likely not but why don't you just call microsoft and get a new product key number ?
