Whats the best video card for a power supply of only 300watts?

I'm trying to find a video card(that is able to run tf2)that only needs a 300watt power supply..The thing is, i don't want to mess with the power supply because i have no idea what to buy. They're all to condusing >_< (and i'm short on money). I'm trying to get a 8600gt,but i dont know WHICH TO CHOOSE..What is the difference of these video cards?I see alot of brands, and they all look the same to me..Whats the best video card for a power supply of only 300watts?
You're not going to be able to run an 8600GT with a 300 watt PSU. Just get something cheap (since you have a 300 watt PSU and neglected to list other specs I will assume they're abyssmal) as likely your computer is not a keeper.Cheap but decent PSU $65 - 30 mail in rebate = $35 eventuallyCheap but good brand 8600 GT $70Whats the best video card for a power supply of only 300watts?

If you don't want to spend alot just ge tthis one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371019 its only $35

The only thing it does is give extra power ONLY threw the 6pin connectors and since the 8600GT doesn't have any 6pin connectors than that item you listed probaly isn't going to do anything.
Why am I reminded of those woo woo devices that idiots attach to their carburetor and think they'll get 200 MPG because the ad said so.

^that requires 350 watts...Ok,so i found this graphics card..http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem%26item=290248733682%26fromMakeTrack=true%26ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:middle:usFor some reason the reccomended power supply is 300 watts, which is pretty low.The minimum is just 250 watts..The other 8600gt cards atleast(for their minumim) require a 350 watt.Just curious, why is it that only this card(which should be the same quality as the other 8600gt) need less power?Should i just get this?If it dosent work, worse case scenario ,i just need to buy a better power supply..Am i right?>_
^that requires 350 watts...
exactly, if that thing takes up 350W, you're screwed

i used to have a BFG 8600gt oc 512mb and it ran fine on a 275watt psu and even overclocked a little
what else did you have in your system? 1 fan, p4 and 256mb memory?
Why am I reminded of those woo woo devices that idiots attach to their carburetor and think they'll get 200 MPG because the ad said so.
Black cat...ya mean stickers, neons, and fart cans on the back of Honduhs don't give you an extra 200hp....(crying)
what else did you have in your system? 1 fan, p4 and 256mb memory?
i had a 3.2ghz p4 512mb ram and one fan that didnt need its own connector it just plugged into the main board, that system fried though when i did end up putting in a new psu
i got a new pc , i needed a video card, i got hd 3650 which needs a 400 watt psu but i have a 300 watt psu and they all work fine , actually there is quad core cpu in it too.
I run my pc with this 300 watt psu and there are quad core cpu and 4gb ram and hd 3650 gpu(400 watt requirements).DOes this mean my pc system will fry soon because i don't have a 500 watt psu??

well it's quad core u cannot use all its power unless u run crysis on high probably. but i run crysis on med and i don't want my pc to burn up. i will get a 500 watt psu soon and a 4850.
