Just crossfired 4850

I have to say wow i wasn't expecting this much of a performance gain, Crysis now runs pretty darn well with 4850 crossfired. I went from 32fps @ 1650x1050 all high to 46fps on the benchmark but in game the perforamce increase was even more noticable. My 3Dmark06 score went from 13000 to 17500, crossfiring this card was well worth it. I would definitely recommand getting 2 4850's its great value for money. Just crossfired 4850
idk, whats better 2 4850's or one 4870?? just wondering because i need to decide which card/cards to getJust crossfired 4850
idk, whats better 2 4850's or one 4870?? just wondering because i need to decide which card/cards to get
of course two 4870 but you will need to buy a good CF psu and a good cpu..maybe Q6600 OCed to 3.20GHz+
Why do you think I was impressed, also i heard that crossfire in Crysis doesn't work properly it certainly increased my perforamce quite significantly. I wasn't expecting to get any performance gain in Crysis and only around 16,000 on 3Dmark06.

The 3D Mark scores sound about average, but the Crysis increase is very out of the ordinary.

This will put all the doubters to rest. I hear too many people saying that Crossfire doesnt improve performance blah blah blah.. and I've gotten bashed on for it so many times. I happen to have a friend with HD4870 in Crossfire and he reported a 12fps gain from his single gpu setup. I only expected 10fps gain, but obviously, it's more. Thanks for posting your results. I'm looking forward to crossfiring my HD4870, although I understand yours is an HD4850.

Damn man, that is an insane rig :D
