Having strange lags in Vista

It's very weird, I don't know where it comes from.
When I'm playing Assassin's Creed, I get lags (when I pause they'll disappear after a bit), although my system should be able to handle it. To test, I tried doing CS:S and WC3, but I also have lags in there. I got a G15 keyboard, so I can see that my CPU's just start calculating like crazy.
But the weird part is: when I'm hosting a game on WC3, I'm the only one seeing lags, the players in my game don't even notice me lagging.

These are my systems specifications, please help!

• Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bits (up to date)
• 2 GB DDR2 Internal Memory
• AMD Athlon 64 AM2+ Dual Core processor 5600+
• nVidia GForce 9600GT 512 MB (driver fully updated) Dx10
• PnP screen 1280x1024x32 (75Hz)

I've been searching over Google for more than an hour now, I hope someone can help me... Having strange lags in Vista
where u from : ur Service Internet
and go do www.speedtest.net for usa / canada server
then see ur Speed Also
if it not ur net
then look to add 2GB more ram : If possible 800mhz
note. if ur ram are already 533mhz you must switch to get them 800mhz or so
40$ = 2GB : 60$ = 4GB
100$ = where about price to 8GB
so then one you done so i dunno ifi t Because of your cpu not IT only a 5600x2
most of intel dual core cpu from 90$ to 200$ : outperform by 25% to 50% to 100% with OC-capacity
with ram %26 motherboard all set or ur Vista is doing under Strang bugs and i dunno if there is any way to fix ur vista without ad to reinstall it all or if there is a Window VIsta repair like XP that work better or so

edit : just Read-ed ur profile ur from Netherlands it totally normal to lag if you don't got good Internet speed
specially at hosting Netherlander country doesn't offer Great upload rendering. %26 BandwithHaving strange lags in Vista

Probably a latency issue.

Btw, I'm from the Netherlands, got 512 kB/s down and 128 kb/s upload.

i get 900kpbs upload : 1,200k average download speed on gamespot %26 CNET for any files
and im not paying for blazing fast download :P
connection spec : 10 megabite Internet download speed that mean we get 1/9.5 of it almsot 10
i wish it was even faster bu 1.200k is pretty fast

he said wc3 as well ? dind't he when he host ?
assasin creed is only does of : window corruption %26 lack of memory as i think off or video card. 9600GT is still 20% bellow 8800GT and there for weaker. but it dpend of resolution he play but everting else 500k isnot fast. and 56k upload is increidlbe horrible. you require . at last 300k to even have people lag out on wc3 hosting : 500k for stabiltiy

I also got an older PC, 1.8 GHz Sempron processor, ATI Radeon 9500 PRO 128 MB, 1,5 GB RAM, XP Pro, I can host perfectly on that PC with the same internet connection. (4 Mbit downspeed = 512 kB, 1 Mbit upspeed = 128 kB)Also, lowering the graphic output only decreases the lags by a small amount, and the RAM doesnt change too badly when I hve lags, it's just my processor that skyrockets. That's why I thoughtit should be Vista
you said you ad problem's in hosting dutchie it normal you have only 128KB upload.
you can't expect to do anything good with that 512k is just about to not even have 400MS TO us-East %26 WEST
ur cpu is Bad ur video card should run fine. if you want to switch for someting. id get A Better cpu
a 8800GT in sale or HD4850 in sale
then a E8400 or e8500 or incoming e8600 depend ofur money i know ur not rich poor dutch people :( they look like mexican .

do a ping test to north america : toronto : or someting from www.speedtest.net
ifyou get 120k upload = confirmed 500ms (red ping) of death. or aka supreme lagger of Death almost.
