Hi all. Should I get 9800 GX2 or go crossfire with 2x HD4870? If i got a 9800 GX2 i might get a second one in the future when they drop in price some more. Been having trouble finding decent motherboards with nvida chipsets, prolly since i live in the uk. So it might be a bit easier go with ati seeing as some intel chip sets support crossfire aswell. So what do u lot think my best options are? Or has anyone got a better soloution?Graphics card advice plz
If you have good cooling for your case and have a high enough watt PSU i would go SLi with the HD4870 but if not or have a low watt PSU then go with the 9800GX2.Graphics card advice plz
Im actually building a new pc, so i can do either option. Just depends what the better option is really.
Well, it could all change in a generation and NVidia could be back on top again both for GPUs and motherboard chipsets...But for now you can't go wrong with an Intel P45 motherboard and Crossfired 4870s.
