Crytek specs good?

I was wondering if I would be able to max out most games with the specs that Crytek put out.
CPU Intel Core2Duo E6750
GPU GeForce 8800GT 512MB
Motherboard NVIDIA nForce 650i Socket 775
PSU 600W ATX12V
RAM 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit
HDD SATA 250GB 7200RPM
DVD 20x DVD盧 Burner
Case ATX Midi Tower Computer Case
OS Microsoft Windows XP Home with SP2
Are there any upgrades that would have a significance performance boost? Would Vista w/ 3gb of ram be a better choice? Thanks Crytek specs good?
You can run most of them on High no problem man.Crytek specs good?
The specs Crytek put out are a benchmark minimum. But when looking at buying parts, and their associated cost vs value there's a few changes one would be advised to make if purchasing.CPU to E8400 GPU to HD4850Motherboard to Intel P45PSU to 650+ watts (for potential Crossfire)RAM to 4GB (really, it's so cheap)HD more space, 250GB fills fast with today's gamesOS Vista 64

Would I be able to pretty much max out all games except crysis? And can anyone else confirm that these are good specs?

Those are very good components. The 4850 hasa very good price/performance ratio. Awesome thank you WDT-BlackKat. Would I be able to pretty much max out all games except crysis? [/QUOTE]yep,you would be maxing out any game in resolutions up to 1600 X.... ,however ,you won't in Crysis ,not because its a weak card, but because of its bad coding, btw I firmly believe that you are also going to max out Far cry2 (if they improved the crytek engine which is what the should do so that consoles can run the game smoothly)

AA's kind of extraneous these days, post-640x480 resolution being the norm.
Ok I have gone through everything and before I buy can someone confirm that what I have is good and that I chose the right ones. And I would be getting 4 of the 1gb ram.http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/4468/16945412wc8.jpgIts a pic I figured no one would click 10 links Please only answer if you know for sure that everything would work fine and I made good choices.Thank you

P45 only has 8x/8x crossfire which will limit HD48xx. You need a X38 or X48 motherboard if you really want to crossfire. Otherwise get a Corsair 450/520/550 PSU.

Get this instead.
Yeah I was gonna get 4 of them, but this is same price so I'll get those instead since they will take up less slots. Thanks for answering and for your help!
